Regular Season Round 11: Mega BG - Borac CA 98-74

One of the most interesting games of round 11 was a derby match between two teams from Serbia. The game took place in Beograd where eighth rankedMega BG outleveled visiting Borac CA (3-8) 98-74 . They outrebounded Borac 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Mega BG players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Borac was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian forward Andrija Jelavic (207-2004) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) accounted for 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Mega BG's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Djordje Gagic (210-1990) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Justas Furmanavicius (199-1994, college: Ole Miss) added 17 points respectively for Borac in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mega BG (6-5) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Borac lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Krka.
